I occasionally write short stories to submit to creative writing competitions. I have several in the works, and one completed submission.

 

"Meet Me in the Woods" was submitted through TheProse.com's first Simon & Schuster competition, and was one of the top 50 finalists. All finalists were submitted to Simon & Schuster for consideration.

Travel Writing

My first experience with travel writing was through Travelicious, a site that gives many travel writers their first opportunities. I wrote a profile on Nashville, Tennessee, where I had lived for a year and a half.​
